RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!!!

Oh my goodness I'm 33 weeks pregnant today!!! I'm starting to freak out knowing that I'm giving birth right around the corner!!! I think after you've been there/done that, it makes you even more scared, especially when we had a VERY scary birth experience with Brayden. I'm really starting to get scared about going through that again. I realize that every birth is different, but it's hard not to get that whole scenario out of my head. I'm just trying to really pray about it and leave it in God's hands and I'm praying for an "uneventful" birth this time.

Gosh, so much has happened since my last post and I've been crazy busy so I haven't updated as much as I've wanted to. The major change lately is that we moved again. 2nd time in 3 months!! Our new place is 1000 times better and we are all much happier here already. I still have tons of unpacking to do and I'm finding myself more and more fatigued and unable to do as much as I want to do. I keep pushing myself, but that's not even working lately:0( My mom, sister and brother-in-law just left from being down here for a week and they were kind enough to help me get Brayden's room AND Cameron's nursery both painted & decorated....they look adorable! I'll post pics after I put up the finishing touches!

I've started twice weekly doctor's appointments due to the fact that I'm on insulin for gestational diabetes. My Tuesday appointments at my regular OB are for NST's or Non-Stress Tests on the baby....here's a link so you can read all about what they are checking for:

Then every Friday I go to the Perinatologist (high risk OB) for a BPP or Biophysical Profile of the baby....again, here's a link explaining all about the BPP's:

I've still been feeling really great, except for some severe fatigue and lower back/hip pain that pretty much keeps me awake all night. I did have a scare last week with some pretty painful contractions. I ended up calling the OB's answering service and a midwife called me back and had me try some Tylenol PM, warm bath and she had me drink lots of water. I went to bed and woke up and the contractions were gone. They are pretty sure I was either dehydrated or that I overdid it with 3 doctors appointment, plus a trip to my mom's house she's remodeling in Cedartown, which made for a 15 hour day for me:0(

Another BIG change for us is that Brayden slept in his new "big boy" bed for the 1st time last night. Mommy cried her eyes out, because it's just another sign that my baby isn't a baby anymore:0( He did so great! He slept all night long without fussing or waking up once. Of course, I slept in there with him in the other twin bed:-) I was so worried that once he saw Cameron's room all decorated like a "baby" that he'd want to go in there and sleep in his crib....but he never even asked to and I was shocked! Here are a couple of pictures of him sleeping in his new bed:

Well, that pretty much sums it up and now for the recent belly pics!!! These were taken tonight, so right at 33 weeks on the nose (if you look back at some of my other belly pictures, you can clearly see that I've dropped....my belly is starting to point downward...LOL:

  1. Woot Woot! Happy 33 weeks! It's about time you gave an update.

I am sooooo glad you like your new place, whew! What a nightmare that other flea bag of a place was.

Awesome news that Brayden liked his big boy bed. Funny that you cried instead of him.

Cute belly! Yep, I see the dropping.

Can't wait for the next update, and it better be before the birth story. ;-)

    Love ya girlfriend!
