AVOCADOS, SIGNS OF LIFE & FARMHOUSES

I'm 16 weeks today and boy how time is flying!! I have my 16 week checkup with the OB tomorrow so hopefully everything still looks good:0) I've got to take a new picture this week, although I don't think there is much change from two weeks ago. As you can see, I've graduated from a naval orange to an avocado this week!

For the BIG EXCITEMENT of the week.....I FINALLY FELT THE BABY MOVE!!! The other day I was listening to the baby's heartbeat with my home doppler and I felt what I "thought" was a gas bubble moving across my lower stomach but then I realized that it was the baby moving!!! I felt it several times and each time it happened, I would lose the heartbeat on the monitor because the baby was moving away from the probe! Today I've felt the little tiny flutters & movement all day......HOW EXCITING!!! This is the part of pregnancy that makes all the yucky stuff/symptoms all worth it. I can't wait until the point where the baby is big enough to actually feel hard kicks and see movement from the outside.....that part is really amazing!

If you recall in my last post, I asked for prayer because of our housing situation. Well.....I'M VERY HAPPY TO SAY that the house we were trying to rent that was "possibly falling through" actually worked out and we are moving into a one story, 3 bedroom farmhouse THIS SUNDAY.....woohoo!!! We are sooooo excited to be able to get out of this apartment!!!! Now I just need prayers for physical strength to get this whole apartment packed and ready to move by SUNDAY MORNING....yikes!! I'm just so tired from being pregnant and have no "oomph" to get my butt going. Plus with a toddler running around trying to unpack boxes as I pack them, it's quite the challenge:-)

I'll try to update tomorrow about my OB appointment and possibly with a new belly picture.
