11 MONTHS!!!

Well....yet ANOTHER month has just flown by and my baby boy is 11 months old today....gosh I cannot even believe a month from today he'll be ONE!!!  He has sooooo much personality he smiles a LOT..he's learning new words all the time right now he's saying "mama", "dada", "nye nye" (for night night), "num num" (we always ask him if he wants some nums nums when we feed him his solids), "ba ba", he waved bye bye while actually saying "bye bye", "nu nu" (no no).  He also started clapping to music the other day while we were in the van.  The song "B-I-N-G-O" came on the cd and when they started clapping, I heard clapping in the back seat of the van which I "assumed" was Brayden but when I turned around I saw these little hands clapping away in his baby seat.  It was soooooo cute and he's been doing it ever since & every time he hears music.  He's still not walking totally on his own (although he has taken several steps on his own several different times) but still pushing his little cart (and my laundry basket with wheels) all over the house.  He stands all by himself all the time without holding onto anything for long periods of time too.  Oh and did I mention in the last post what a terrible little TEMPER he has?  Oh my goodness does he have lungs and isn't afraid to use them!!!  He screams a blood curdling scream whenever he doesn't get his way, which is pretty much all day long!  We are still co-sleeping and I'm "hoping" to try the crib out once again this weekend.  I haven't tried in quite a few months.  He is still taking EVERY single nap in his swing because he won't nap in his crib.  I'm VERY excited that I only have one more month to buy formula at over $100 per month.....woohoo!!!  Cloth diapering is going GREAT!  I really do like it and I've finally decided that I'm addicted!!!  I'm pretty much exclusively using pocket diapers because I LOVE how they fit, how fast they dry and how easy they are to put on!  I'm trying to build my stash a little more so I have enough diapers to only wash every 3 days or so.  Cameron also had his first hair cut at an actual barber (my mom ususally does it but she's 700 miles away right now and he desperately needed a hair cut).  He did really well but of course it was hard for the guy to cut his hair because he was moving all over the place looking at everyone and everything in the shop.  Speaking of hair....I'm sad to say that my 2nd red head is no longer a red head:(  With each hair cut the new growth is getting less and less red.  It's now more like a dark blonde/light brown color.  I guess there is still hope that it might change back the older he gets but I doubt it.  I LOVED the fact that both boys were red heads!

Oh and I almost forgot....he Cameron cut his first little toofy at 10 months and 5 days old.  He's working on a 2nd but no signs of it poking through the gums yet.

My little Brayden man just started Soccer Tots and has only had one class.  It started out to be a nightmare because he was running all over the place and not paying attention but he quickly straightened up and really did well.  They really didn't do much with the soccer ball, but instead did a bunch of activities to help them learn to follow simple instructions.  They have little small rubber circles that they are supposed to run to and stand on when she tells them to go to their "spot".  He did REALLY well with that.  I got some video that I'll post on this entry later.  There was one little boy that she kept pulling aside & making him sit out because he was being horrible and not listening to anything she said (I thanked GOD it was someone else's kid and not mine...LOL).  Actually, as you can see by the videos, he seemed to behave better than any of the other kids in general.  Note the video where they are supposed to running back and forth stacking cones while one little boy hold them...Brayden is pretty much the only one doing all the work while the other kids run around wild.  At one point you can see him pointing and tell another little boy what he's supposed to be doing...LOL

I'm still suffering with pretty bad anxiety and so far ALL bloodwork has come back normal.  They were SURE it was hormone related from my pregnancy with Cameron but nothing is showing up.  From what I understand, blood work for hormone levels is VERY touchy.  You can get different results on different days and even in the same day so it's really hard to pinpoint.  I'm actually going to go to a Naturopath who does "Computerized BioEnergetic Assessment"....kind of funky but hey if it works in helping to pinpoint the problem, I'm all for it!  Here's a link if you'd like to learn more:

My parents still have not sold their home in Michigan and DESPERATELY need to so please keep this situation in your prayers.  They will be moving down here to their GA house in a couple of weeks and I cannot WAIT to have them closer again.  I LOVE their home down here and it's a "get away" for us when we can go and stay with them for a few days at a time!

I guess that's all for the updates.  I'll post some recent pics and videos now.

Hanging out with dad!

I was in the bathroom one day a couple of weeks ago and Brayden put his backpack on and came into the bathroom and says "O.k. I'm ready to go". I asked him where he was going & he said "I'm going on the airplane to see Grandma". Then I said "Can I come too?" and he said "Sure Mommy, let's go". He is soooooo sweet!

Falling asleep in swing while sitting up, holding onto the tray...LOL

Caught them snuggling on their own...I love it when I can get "UN posed" pictures of them!

New custom AIO diaper made by my friend Sarah West (Oooga Booga pattern)..The name of her store is Wee Bonnie Botts http://www.weebonniebotts.com/  The website isn't finished yet but she lists her Etsy store on the site.  She does a WONDERFUL job making dipes!

I always give Cameron his bottle in his pack n play so I can try & get some stuff done...I looked over the other day and he had fallen asleep...that has NEVER happened before.  Of course I got excited thinking this would be GREAT if he'd sleep somewhere besides his swing....this little "nap" lasted all of 10 minutes:(

More brotherly love....Cameron LOVES to climb on top of Brayden when he's laying on his back...it's sooo stinkin cute!

Eating spaghetti for the first time...he LOVED it!

One of my favorite pics of him EVER...looks at that beautiful face & big eyes:)

Another pic of the new toofy

Mr. picky eater never tries anything new...we got him to eat spaghetti, even though it was only about 5 bites but he seemed to like it o.k.

Finger painting for the first time...he had a blast!

I think we may just have an abstract artist on our hands!

O.k. so maybe I went a little video crazy this time......enjoy!

My little guy just rec'd a pillow pet (puppy) as a gift, they are soooo soft! I want to order the giraffe one. How are the Kawiis working out? Love ya!
