IMPROMPTU DOCTOR'S VISIT

I had an impromptu visit to the OB today due to some cramping & horrible pressure "down below". They did a culture to make sure I don't have any infection & they did a quick cervix check to make sure it was nice & long & closed. Then since 10 weeks is too early to hear a heartbeat on the outside, they did a quick TV ultrasound to make sure everything still looked good with the baby and that it still had a heartbeat. What an awesome site that was! The little bean is actually starting to look like a little baby already with arm buds & leg buds & eye sockets. She was wiggling all over the place! Everything looked good and they aren't sure what is causing the discomfort except maybe possibly since I've already had one child, things might be stretching around down there quicker the second time around.
